Why This Exists

Most IAM content comes from vendors selling platforms or analysts selling research. The people closest to the work, the ones building and running identity programs, rarely shape the conversation. That is a problem, because the best thinking in this space comes from practice, not product marketing. Identara exists to bring that practitioner perspective to the surface.

The Perspective

Identity is not a support function. It is the control layer that shapes risk, operations, and trust across the business. I think most organizations underestimate how much of their security posture depends on getting identity right. That belief drives everything on this platform.

The Person

I trained as an aerospace engineer, spent time at CERN and Siemens, and eventually found my way into IAM. Since then I have worked across consulting, banking, retail, and the public sector, building enterprise identity programs from strategy through delivery. Identara is where that experience becomes writing, tools, and advisory others can use.
